How to deal with affiliates for your niche products and services: You must start an affiliate program in case you want the sale of you niche service or product to increase. By using this program many other people can earn commission by selling your service or product. So a huge number of affiliates will get ready to sell your products in case you pay high commission. Most of your best affiliates won't require much help from you in selling your service or product. They are all experienced and qualified marketers and they may actually teach you few things about online selling.
However you cannot depend on these experienced affiliates alone. This is because there will be a number inexperienced people joining your program. They will lack knowledge is some area or the other related to internet marketing. It thus becomes your responsibility to help them and tell them about the various aspects of online marketing. Before starting out with anything, you need to set up a proper affiliate program. This is important because if your program is good then even the experienced internet marketer will join it. There are some important things which you should never forget to address. These are listed below. • You must pay a good commission on every sale. Usually commissions are paid in the range of forty to sixty percent. So don't be greedy. Give a good commission so that the experienced marketer sells your product nicely.
• You should be regular with paying your affiliates. You should pay them at least once a month. You can also make payments twice a month in case the sales are good.
• Never set a very high minimum payment threshold. These minimum earning thresholds were common earlier when it was quite expensive to generate payments. This was done because there was no point of generating a check when the postage costs and bank charges cost more than the check itself. It was also done because it became quite expensive especially for the foreign affiliates to drop the checks into their accounts.
